Getting a Professional Security License
You study online and in-class to get a First Aid and CPR Certificate
To get a Security Guard License, you must have a valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certificate. At Shrike Security services Inc, we provide training material which includes 33.5 hours online class which is followed by 6.5 hours in class for Emergency First Aid and CPR level C certification.
TCN Number
After completing 33.5 hours online and 6.5 hours in class training, you will get Training Completion Number (TCN) from the ministry.
Exam
It will be followed by an exam which can be booked online by paying $39.55 (including tax). Here you will use the Training Completion Number (TCN) which you got at previous stage.
Applying for the security guard license
If you pass the exam, you can apply for security guard license on Ministry of the Solicitor General. Here you pay the last fee which is $80 (incl. tax) and get your license.
Once you have the license, you can start applying for the jobs.
